The Feasibility of Reactive Dye in PVA Films as High Dosimeter

چکیده
The gamma dosimetric response of the Methylene Blue (MB) in Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) films was investigated. spectrophotometric analysis done to observe changes these at pre and post irradiation. PVA based were irradiated using Cs137 γ-source within dose range (100-200) kGy. effect concentration dyes, pH dyed solutions thickness employed as parameters this study. stability MB-PVA before after irradiation examined ambient temperature. found be light sensitive. Owing simple preparation absence any toxic solvents during preparation, docile for large-scale production application routine processes medical equipments.
